BOG OAK
This oak which has been buried in Peat Bogs has changed the characteristic dark brown to black colour of Bog Oak. If buried for a century or more, the wood is chemically modified. It makes the wood harder and more brittle.

Bog Oak is very rare. Products vary in colour.
